This star diagonal is a very good alternative to simple prisms and mirrors which often only have a plastic body. The body is considerably better and the multi-coated prism is mounted significantly better. Thus a clean image is created even at highest magnifications.
Double-sided T2 connector for photographic use or binocular approach
The T2 (M42x0.75) thread can be used for custom adaptations. This is a great advantage over normal 1.25" prisms or zenith mirrors. With an optically effective overall length of only 40 mm, the prism can be adapted to almost any telescope system. For example, the prism is also very suitable for binocular approaches or for constructing an ultra-short 2" cenit mirror.
Advantages and features of the TSZPT2 at a glance:
♦ High-quality metal body with T2 connection on both sides
♦ Oversized multicoated prism for high-contrast imaging without reflections
♦ Very short with only 40 mm overall length from T2 thread to T2 thread
♦ Image: upright and mirrored image
♦ Very compact: 63 x 40.5 x 38 mm
