The PLANETARIUM of Thessaloniki, with a history dating back to 1981, is today one of the most specialized import and commercial companies in the Astronomy & Nature sector in Greece and the Balkans, and the largest importer and distributor of astronomical equipment in the Balkans. Through long-standing consistency and reliability, we have built strong relationships of trust with customers and partners, providing high-spec equipment and expert know-how.
Our activities include the import and distribution of astronomical equipment and nature observation instruments, such as telescopes and accessories, spotting scopes, binoculars, microscopes, weather stations, and other optical/scientific instruments for demanding users, professionals and organizations; the import and commercial distribution of educational toys; as well as the publication of relevant books and academic textbooks.
Our Team
Our team, consisting of astrophysicists, economists, marketing professionals and other specialized associates, has the capability to prepare studies and provide support for large-scale projects such as observatories, permanent planetariums and related infrastructure.
Clientele and Partnerships
Our clientele includes, in addition to the astronomical community, Universities, Managing Authorities for Protected Areas and National Parks, National Security and Defense Agencies, major companies and retail chains, as well as an extensive network of resellers and partners in Greece and Cyprus.
